It's not done because we didn't want to hold back the site any longer. Most unfinished things is completly new features and will be implemented as soon as they are done. If you find anything not completed yet that you're in need of badly please let us know =)

Yes when you are logged in you can always write http://dingblog.com/my_blog to reach your blog and http://dingblog.com/my_profile to reach your profile.

You can also write http://dingblog.com/auth when you are logged out to reach the frontpage with the login form visible.

We'll add more shortcuts when needed, make sure to use the improved banner on each blog for easy navigation!

For now the following works:

• @username - link to users profile
• @@blog - link to users blog
• [quote=commentid] - quote the comment (simply click on the quote button next to the comment you want to quote.

There will be more features added later!

There are several ways to do this.

• You can either change the look of your blog by simply chosing one of the premade templates; this can be done by going to DB Labs while being on your dashboard. Now simply click on Templates and chose one of the existing templates!
• Another way to do this is by editing your CSS and HTML coding. Don't by shy and try out anything you want: If you mess something up, you can easily restore the default code by clicking on the Reset Template link.

There are two ways to do this. First of all you have to go to your Dashboard. Then click on "DB Labs". Now you can either chose to:

1. Go to the DB Labs application and change the color of your blog titles there; or
2. Go to the HTML Editor. When you are there, scroll down to the bottom of the HTML editor; there you can see the SIFR definitions for all flash generated texts. Now you simply need to change the color hexcode written there with the hexcode of the color you want your title to be. The last step you need to do is click on "Update" and your changes are visible in your blog!

This can be done in three ways:

1. Go to the person's blog you want to follow. Now click on "Start feeding" and voilà - you are now following this person's blog!
2. Go to your dashboard and click on "My Feeds". Enter a name into the box under "Feed Menu" and a list with matching blogs will appear. Now you just need to click on the blog you want to add to your fees. You are following his or her blog now!
3. Visit the profile of the person you want to add to your feed and click on "Start feeding" right under his or her avatar. After you have done this you can find the blog in your feeds.

Log in and go to your dashboard and click on "DB Labs". You will be directly linked to the settings page where you can easily change your profile information by simply entering the information into the according boxes. Now you only need to wait a few moments and your profile will be updated automatically. There is no need for you to submit something or refresh the page!

First of all you need to be logged in. After that, you change to your dashboard (can be found right below the Dingblog.com header) and click on "Publish". Depending on what your default setting for the Publish page is, you either are directly on the Publish Blog Entry page or you simply need to change to it (by clicking on "Blog Entry").

Now you can write whatever you want by using the text editor. When you are happy with what you have written, you can either chose to save your blog as a draft if you think you want to add something later, or you can publish your blog now by clicking on the "Publish" button.
